Oh, I know. It was during a moment when I was trying to get her to stop chewing, looked away for a second, turned back and found she had managed to swallow the string. Which then got her a stern talking to and no more string.
She is, I just think the string made it...hang out, so to speak, and thus it didn't come off in her box. When it did fall off a few feet away on my bathmat, however, she covered it with the only thing she could find, my sock.
