I've been meaning to post a full listing of all of the blogs I follow, but their sheer number (cracking into the mid-thirties) combined with the wonky nature of some (really, how many people besides me are interested in analysis of daily news in China?) doesn't really make it much of a productive exercise.
So in lieu of blogs, I am posting my podcast list, mainly for future reference if I have a system crash.
- APM: Marketplace - Of my two money/business podcasts Marketplace is decidedly more wonky, but the delivery's so accessible I can't go without it.
- APM: Speaking of Faith - I listen sometimes, depending on the topic. I prefer Interfaith Voices, though.
- APM: Splendid Table - It's an hour of foodies talking about being foodies. Great to cook to.
- Interfaith Voices - The mixed format of this show really puts it ahead of SOF for me. Interfaith Voices focuses more on day-to-day issues, rather than the broader religious scope of SOF.
- KERA's Think - A new addition, basically the generic brand Fresh Air. But I like the topics they tend to have, so I'll probably keep it.
- MSNBC Countdown
- MSNBC Rachel Maddow
- NPR: Culturetopia - It's a nifty little collection, and I like the hosts.
- NPR: Fresh Air - Yes, it's the NPR mainstay. So sue me.
- NPR: Planet Money - I adore Planet Money, and can't recommend it enough, especially now. They deal with economics in ways that are logical, unconventional, and compelling, while never allowing themselves to get too lost in the heavy-duty terminology of finance.
- NPR: Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me - One of the few things the family did all together and really enjoyed was listening to Wait, Wait during Sunday lunch. It'd listen to it no matter what, but there's also a lot of nostalgia.
- On The Media - I believe I've discussed the fact I'd marry OTM in a heartbeat. Many times before.
- PRI: Whad'Ya Know? - I only listen to the news standup portion of this show. Michael Feldman's hit or miss for me.
- PRI's The World - It's one of the only ways I can easily get BBC coverage in consumable bits. Not a favorite, but it's good for world news updates.
- The Dinner Party Download - The public radio incarnation of Mental Floss.
- The Inside Story with Ana Marie Cox - Mostly, I listen for the Ana Marie Cox. Her guests can be 'eh' for me most of the time.
- This American Life - No podcast list is complete without TAL.

I also get Xinhua's headlines, but I rarely read their news--I just use it as a way to keep updated on the major events and government movements.
