I am displeased, for
A) Geoff Johns is now co-writing "Shazam!", if he can get his hands out of his writing pants long enough to create a good story, as opposed to feeding his fanboy needs.
B) The new Moon Knight series. This solicit rather horrifies me:

MOON KNIGHT IS NOT BATMAN. BUSHMAN IS NOT THE JOKER. Having Marc be "cured" of his schizophrenia just so MK can be rebranded as a grim-n-gritty badass is unnecessary and totally misses what is valuable about the character.
Also, why the hell does MK have guns? He doesn't use guns.

I'm retreating over here to go see if I can Salvage my Moon Knight and Magik series, just for the hell of it.

Indeed not.
Admittedly, I'm also purist who only considers canon Moench's run and Huston/Benson. Chuck Dixon earns sneering dislike from me for many things, but primary among them is his awful '90s run and its 'Moon Knight = Batman!' approach.
