- Black & White: My expectations for Black & White basically float right above "try not to drown yourself in a puddle," which makes it easy to like. Mind candy, Black & White the big, stupid lout who never knows when silence is preferable to an explosion, but it's in Mandarin and Vic Zhou looks consistently fabulous, so I keep coddling it.

- Glee: Oh, Glee. You are a time machine back to my high school years in the best way possible, which is quite an achievement. One of the few things I loved about HS was show choir, and Glee delivers the musical numbers exactly where I need them, along with a healthy respect for show choir's intrinsic obliviousness to how fucking silly everything it does when the songs are taken out of their original context. The infamous Rehab performance was spot-on to my own experiences, which may have involved watching an excruciating All-State show choir experience where the "best" show choir men in the state performed (in fluorescent sweatshirts, no less) an hilariously upbeat yet tone-deaf rendition of Le Mis's "Red and Black" in a suite whose theme was "Uplifting Songs!"

If I remember correctly, they followed this up with an Elton John tune. It was all rather surreal.

- Gao 16: Oh, Rouki arc. You could secretly involve slaughtering swathes of adorable penguins and I would still love you. You reduce me to a gibbering mes of, "Yay, it's Rouki! Get off the screen, Gaorangers, I want to see Rouki! Look, it's Rouki!" The only substantive thing which enters my brain is how superior the voice acting is in Gao compared to Wild Force, especially the flute music. WF made it rather...gimmicky, but it fits in Gao.
